I REALLY wanted this to be good, but save your money and wait for next-gen headsets. I love, love, LOVED my Rift’s VR experience. But I absolutely LOATHED the screendoor effect. I hated it so much, I returned it. I couldn’t justify spending $400+ on just how detracting that single most terrible characteristic VRs share. I firmly believe VR could EASILY be mainstream by now if Oculus and HTC wouldn’t have skimped on the screens. I told myself I’d wait for Gen2 VRs as they’d assuredly address this problem. Decent but not there yet. 4k is cool. Love the resolution.. gets rid of the screen door effect almost fully.Amazing price. Also very simple to setup.Problems that I encountered..The settings do not have any calibration settings. My headset is straight but the configuration makes it appear that it’s about 10 degrees leaned to the left. I’ve gone through the very limited configuration options and theres nothing that can manually overwrite the angles.There is no adjustment of the…

Really awesome I bought this as a less expensive entry into VR to play Elite Dangerous. The setup could be simpler but really wasn’t that difficult after a bit of research. Once I dialed in the settings I couldn’t be happier. The clarity is amazing and it makes the game so immersive. Worth every penny.
