Sony Just Pulled a Fast One on Everyone Buying these Controllers It looks like all Sony did was repackage their old PS3 move controllers. As most of you know, the old PS3 move controllers had the mini USB charge port where as the newer PS4 accessories and controllers have the newer and more widely used micro USB charge ports. I thought that Sony would have at least updated these controllers with the micro ports since they will be used with the Playstation VR on the PS4, but no. These are pretty much PS3 controllers re-packaged in a box that says PS4. The…

These are pretty much ps3 motion controllers. Pretty much just repackaged ps3 move controllers. You would think Sony would at least change the charge cables. These didn’t come with any wires, so I have to go buy some.

Lazy execution by Sony It’s a nice gadget to have for VR, but Sony couldn’t have updated the USB connector to bring it in line with today’s standard? It still uses the 5-pin USB mini connector, instead of the micro USB-B connector everyone in the civilized world uses. It also will not charge through any of my USB wall-plugs, so it has to be connected to the Playstation, which only has 2 USB ports, one of which is taken by the VR Dongle, and one by my headset (non-VR).Seriously Sony, bare-minimal effort.
