Buyer beware I just built my new gaming PC and am using this as my primary drive. I bought the 1 tb model and installed it and was puzzled why it only showed me having 230 gb available after installing windows. I used disk clean up and still the same available space. When I pulled up the hardware configuration it showed it to be a 256 gb drive and not a 1 Tb drive. New and Snappy Product from an Old, Reliable Lineage Already converted the 2.5-inch drive in my HP Envy 17 to a Samsung 850 EVO 1TB drive and saw the M.2 slot and thought it would be interesting to try something new. Then Amazon brought out the 860 EVO M.2 500gb ssd and I just couldn’t resist. Buy it. Just do it. Wow. I don’t know why I waited so long to do this, I’ve known my computer had an M.2 slot for a while now, and finally took the plunge and bought this Samsung 860 Evo SSD. I should have done this as soon as I bought the computer, lol.For reference, the laptop that I installed this in is an Acer Aspire R5-571t.
